Trenchworx - French WWI FT-17 - Finished

I'm content with the way the mud dried overnight. I probably should have done it in two parts the first coat with a darker, wetter looking mud and the second with the lighter, drying mud. I see some things that I will probably go back and fix, but these are for the gaming table and they should look really nice on the game table supporting my Marines.

My picture fu is weak today though:

  1. Wow, the colors are now much more subdued than when you started. Very nice.

    1. They get subdued very quickly with this kind of heavy weathering. Quite frankly its always a tough decision on how far I want to go. I really like the original colors but for the gaming table it needs to look likes its part of the environment. See Cross Over between the hobbies!

  2. It turned out beautifully. The weathering is great and I like the mud effects you put on the tracks. The book you bought on painting tanks was certainly a good investment.

    1. It was! For this one though I used the weathering issue from Ammo of Mig. The larger scale techniques were more useful. I do love my books!
