Things seem to really have accelerated on my blog and I'm not exactly sure why. My daily hits went up to over 200 and I had 8,000+ total hits for September. I'm certainly glad that people are finding my blog useful which was kind of the whole point to starting it in the beginning. It also means that its worth continuing on with it. I'm kind of dazzled by the 100,000 mark achieving it in 21 months. I thought I would never get to it. Of course its no great shakes when you see the hits that Anne, Ray and Fran manage to pull in on a daily basis. Still I'm pretty happy with it! Now to get some projects finished!
And some pictures (okay a lot of pictures) from prior postings. Remember - Pictures are like Bacon for Blogs (and you can use that I'm pretty sure I said it first!).

Life is short, break the rules. Forgive quickly, kiss slowly. Love truly, laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that makes you smile. - Samuel Longhorne Clemens (Mark Twain)

Kickstarter: Reaper Bones II, The Return of Mister Bones. End of Day One
I promise that I will try not to post to much more about this kickstarter but the results at the end of day 1 (9am Central Time this morning) were interesting enough to comment on.
First a "motivational" poster created by a gentleman in the Reaper Forums
This is from an interesting twist to the add-on options. You can add the Expansion set as an add-on to the core set at $50. As the kickstarter progresses the Expansion set will increase with new miniatures as well. There as been some debate about this little twist primarily in the Kickstarter comments, but I think its a neat idea.
Bones II crossed the 1,000,000 mark at 1:32am Central Time. There wasn't as much activity from the international folks, primarily based on concerns over shipping costs. Reaper is going to charge actual shipping costs to ROW backers. I understand their concern but this is becoming pretty normal for just about any kickstarter project. Shipping overseas has become frighteningly expensive.

Here is what the core set contains right now, subject to change without notice (click on the image to make it bigger)
Here are the current Add-on Options, again subject to change without notice (click on the image for a bigger version):
Right now, they are at 9372 backers and $1,068,631 pledged and we still have 24 days to go.

Holy Cow Batman! Bones II The Return of Mister Bones
Reaper Miniatures kicked off their new Kickstarter this morning at 9am Central time. Funded in 3 minutes, and broke the $150,000 level in the first 20. The options are very streamlined this time. Core Option either as an early bird (no discount on price just first wave shipping) and wave 2. Price at $100 and figures are rapidly being added. I have seen at least one dragon add on and if you are into the mouslings they are available as an add on as well (set of 10). The insanity has begun! Right now there is a limit of 4500 spots but I suspect they have broken the shipping up into waves, so as the Wave 2 Shipping slots fill a Wave 3 shipping will open up. They may also have a limit to the total number of pledges and this is an interesting way to manage it.
Here is the map although its probably already out of date in the 5 or 6 minutes it took me to right write this.
30 minutes in $200,000+
3 hours in $500,000+, things slowed down a little bit!
