I'm glad to see they made it up today and am looking forward to hearing they've made a safe return. Hopefully everything will have performed well and they can go to the next step.
ReplyDeleteThis has been a flawless mission so far. It reached apogee about 10 minutes ago and should splash down in about an hour or so. Current predictions have it splashing down within 1.3 nautical miles of the target, pretty much a bullseye landing. Then there is one more unmanned mission followed by a manned mission that will orbit the moon again.
DeleteGrrrr....clouds obscured my view of the launch....I can usually see the rocket launches if the sky is clear.
ReplyDeleteThat's to bad. I watched the video of the launch as soon as I got up. It was pretty spectacular!
